Diagnosis before replacement

Start with safe observations

Record any warning codes, unusual sounds, changes in runtime and when the issue occurs. Look for visible obstructions from a safe position. Do not open electrical enclosures or touch exposed conductors.

Understand changing performance

Shorter backup time may reflect changed appliance usage, battery ageing, charging conditions or a system fault. A symptom on its own is not a diagnosis.

Request a documented assessment

A useful diagnostic visit should establish the supported equipment, test the relevant components and explain the finding before replacement work is agreed.

Keep your records together

Save equipment model details, original quotations, installation records, warranty information and service history. These make support and warranty claims easier to handle.

Planning information, not an equipment specification. Final scope, availability and technical recommendations must be confirmed following an appropriate assessment.

Questions before you begin

How much does a solar system cost in Aba?

The price depends on your appliance loads, backup hours, battery capacity, equipment and installation requirements. An itemised proposal is more useful than a price based on inverter kVA alone. Our cost guide explains what to compare.

Can solar power my freezer or air conditioner?

It can be designed for those loads, but running watts, compressor starting demand, operating hours and battery storage all matter. Share the actual appliance ratings for an assessment rather than relying on a generic package.
